For Buyers

Are you thinking about purchasing real estate?
Please consider the following:
1) Every home search should start with finding the mortgage institution and mortgage professional that is right for you. Real estate agents are not mortgage professionals, agents are knowledgable on the real estate market. Mortgage professionals can answer many questions that assist you in securing a mortgage. e.g. How much will the mortgage institution let me borrow? At what interest rate? What are my costs of buying a home? The costs and interest rates may vary, per each institution (speaking to several mortgage institutions is recommended). After you find the right mortgage professional and have your financial questions answered, it is normally recommended to find the real estate agent that is right for you.

2) Finding the right real estate agent can make a big difference in your home search. Working with the right agent is important, each agent has a unique business plan and personality. It is recommended that you interview several
agents, as you will likely be spending much time together.
Communication is an important part of your success.
Other important questions:
Does your agent have proficient knowledge of the local
market?
Do they empower you with objective information throughout
the buying process?
Can they provide references in successfully assisting
others?
What kind of negotiation skills do they possess?
Do they use the latest technology to communicate with you
and provide effective information, to aid you in achieving
your real estate goals?

This is not an all-inclusive list. Yet, we hope this information successfully assists you in your home search.
